Function and uses:
Curcumin is a kind of pigment extracted from turmeric and other zingiberaceae plant. It has effect of control inflammatory response, antioxidant and anti-rheumatoid.
Recommended dosage: GB 2760-96: carbonated beverage, candy, ice cream, jelly, 0.01g/kg
Solubility: insoluble in water and diethyl ether; soluble in ethyl alcohol and glacial acetic acid
Scope of application:
In food industry: in sausages, cans and salted product;
As acid-base indicator from PH7.8 to 9.2;
