Function and uses:
tonifying spleen, tonifying qi, clearing away heat and toxic materials, expelling phlegm to arrest coughing, coordinating the drug actions of a prescription; for weakness of the spleen and the stomach, ennui, palpitation, cough, relieve pain, drug toxicity
Scope of application:
Used in beer and beverage to overcome fermentation and rancidity caused by over-using of sugar;
Used in candy, chocolate and chewing gum, having effect of sterilization, clean teeth, diminish inflammation, cooling throat;
Applied in soybean sauce;
Solubility: easily soluble in water
