Evodia officinalis has its scientific name Tetradium ruticarpum and its real name is Euodia ruticarpa. Evodia officinalis is usually divided into several varieties, such as large flower evodia officinalis, medium flower evodia officinalis and small flower evodia officinalis. Small trees or shrubs, 3-5 m tall, shoots dark purplish red, tomentose or sparsely short with yellowish or rust-colored tomentose with buds. Born in the flat land to the altitude of 1500 meters in the mountains of sparse forest or bushes, mostly seen in the sunny slope. There are small or large plantations everywhere.
